We are thrilled to support Earl as he continues to push the limits and set new challenges for himself. 2019 will be a great year and we can't wait for race day!
Earl's Story: "In May of 2017, I lost my lower right leg in an accident. The prognosis was grim. I was told later that after 14 hours of surgery, that I was not expected to live through the night. Then I was told by several of my doctors I would never walk again. They didn't know my God, and they didn't realize my grit. After leaving the ICU, I would literally, (without my leg yet) drag myself to a gym six days a week to start the long road back. I lifted, cycled, and did TRX and kettlebell swing workouts and have progressed every week. Fast forward to today, I currently can do 200 one-armed swings with a 53-pound kettlebell.
I am thrilled to take on my next big challenge, The Dirty Kanza 200, one of America's premier bicycle races in Emporia, Kansas. The race takes place in June 2019, and my drive to overcome any hurdle combined with some great partnerships will make this a worthy but achievable goal.
Mocu Health is one such partner. They have been an instrumental part of my 112-pound weight loss and have fueled my energy requirements during brutal workouts.
Mocu has offered to support me throughout the Dirty Kanza adventure, and I know they will be there for me when I'm riding 200-miles of mud, gravel, and river crossings.
Thanks, guys from the bottom of my heart."
