Most chia is bagged outside of the US, in some countries that might not be as strict with their cleaning procedures. Chia is an ingredient that presents challenges to clean because you cannot get it wet. This still allows for debris and stems to get through the process. Our supplier uses a one-of-a-kind process that allows it to be fully cleaned and without any debris while ensuring that you get the best quality and nutritious seed in the world. Plus the facility is so clean you could eat off of the floor Additionally we buy all of our chia seeds fresh every harvest.
